you asked

Safety, IDs, bags, refunds and who to email. If it isn't here, text us and we usually answer within a few hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Read these before you land. The venue rules are stricter than you'd guess.

Safety checks

LTBW cares about the safety of our guests, staff and volunteers. At every official LTBW event please be prepared for a brief safety check. Any bags that you might be carrying will be searched. You will also be checked quickly with a metal detector. No weapons of any kind are permitted. Outside drinks and alcohol are not permitted at most venues. Drugs are not permitted.

Some venues may have additional or different safety requirements. If you have any questions regarding a particular venue, please check their website.

No physical ID, no entry

You will be required to present your ID at every venue. This is a legal requirement. We only accept valid physical government issued photo IDs. We do not accept photos of IDs. All IDs must be physically scanned.

Bags & backpacks

At most venues small bags like fanny packs and purses meant to carry items for constant use throughout the day, such as notepads, lipsticks, wallets and phones, are generally permitted. Some venues prohibit larger bags and backpacks. Please check the venue before arriving. The venues for the pool parties and beach party do not have any restrictions on bags, except that your bag will be searched at the entrance.

Refunds & transfers

All tickets and passes are non-refundable, as shown at checkout on Eventeny. The only exception is an event cancelled by the producer, in which case the ticket price and sales tax are refunded through Eventeny. There are no refunds if an event is rescheduled, moved to a different venue, has a change in talent, or for any other reason. See our Refund and Returns Policy.

All events are rain or shine. Some events may be moved to a different location or venue due to weather.

Tickets may be transferred to another guest through your Eventeny account. For help, email Tickets@RBKProductionsLLC.com.

Terms & policies

Terms & Conditions+

Effective September 28, 2026

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week ("LTBW," "we," "us," or "our") is produced by RBK Productions, LLC, 511 NE 21st Ct., #418, Wilton Manors, FL 33305. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of lauderdaletropicalbear.com (the "Site"), your purchase of tickets, passes, excursions and add-ons ("tickets"), your attendance at our events, and our email and text message programs.

By using the Site, buying a ticket, or attending an event, you agree to these Terms. Our Refund and Returns Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and SMS Agreement, all published on this page, form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or buy tickets.

2. Eligibility and ID

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or buy tickets. Many events are for guests 21 and over. You must present a valid physical government-issued photo ID at every venue. Photos of IDs are not accepted. A ticket does not guarantee entry to anyone who cannot show valid ID.

3. Buying tickets

  • Ticketing provider. Tickets are sold through Eventeny, our ticketing provider. When you check out, you do so on Eventeny, and card payments are processed by Stripe. Eventeny's checkout is also subject to Eventeny's own terms.
  • Prices. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Each ticket shows its base price, Florida sales tax and Eventeny's processing fees before you pay.
  • Delivery. Tickets are delivered by Eventeny to the email address you give at checkout. You are responsible for keeping your ticket secure. We admit the first person to present a valid ticket.
  • Order problems. We may cancel an order and refund it in full if the price shown was a clear error, if we suspect fraud or unauthorized use of a payment method, or if the order breaks purchase limits.
  • Refunds. All tickets are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund and Returns Policy.

4. Using your ticket

  • A ticket is a revocable license to attend the event it names, subject to these Terms and the venue's rules. Unless stated otherwise, each ticket admits one person.
  • Safety checks. At every official LTBW event, bags are searched and guests are checked with a metal detector. No weapons of any kind are permitted. Drugs are not permitted. Outside drinks and alcohol are not permitted at most venues.
  • Refusal of entry and removal. We and the venue may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who cannot show valid ID, refuses a safety check, appears intoxicated, breaks venue rules or the law, or behaves in a threatening, violent, harassing or discriminatory way. Guests refused entry or removed for these reasons do not receive a refund.
  • Transfers. You may transfer a ticket to another guest through your Eventeny account.
  • Resale and bots. Tickets are for personal use. Reselling tickets for more than face value, and buying tickets with bots, scripts or other methods that get around purchase limits, are prohibited. We may cancel tickets obtained or resold this way without refund. Tickets bought from anyone other than us or Eventeny may be counterfeit, and we are not obliged to honor them.

5. Event details may change

Line-ups, performers, DJs, hosts, times, venues and themes may change. All events are rain or shine, and some events may be moved because of weather. Changes like these do not entitle you to a refund. See our Refund and Returns Policy.

6. Venue rules and conduct

Our events take place at venues owned or operated by others, and you must follow each venue's rules, bag policy, dress code and staff instructions. Alcohol is served only in line with Florida law and venue policy. We want every guest to feel welcome. Harassment, unwanted touching, discrimination or threats toward any guest, performer, volunteer or staff member will result in removal without refund.

7. Photography, video and your likeness

Our events may be photographed, filmed and live-streamed. By attending, you agree that we and our photographers may record your image, voice and likeness at the event and use those recordings, without payment, to promote Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week in any medium, including our website, social media and advertising.

If you do not want to be photographed, tell the photographer or a member of our team and we will make reasonable efforts to leave you out. If a photo of you appears on our website or social media and you want it taken down, contact us and we will remove it from the channels we control.

8. Assumption of risk

Events can involve crowds, loud music, lighting effects, alcohol, heat, sun, pools, beaches, boats and outdoor activities. You attend voluntarily and accept the risks that normally come with events like these. Excursions may be run by outside operators who may ask you to sign their own waiver. We are not responsible for personal property that is lost, stolen or damaged at an event.

9. Text messages and email

Our text message program is governed by the SMS Agreement published on this page. You do not have to agree to receive text messages to buy a ticket. If you sign up for our newsletter, every email includes an unsubscribe link. We will still send you service messages about tickets you have bought.

10. Our content and trademarks

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, artwork, photographs and video, belong to RBK Productions, LLC or its licensors. "Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week" and its logos are our marks. You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not use our content or marks commercially, or in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

11. Using the Site and other websites

Your use of the Site is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. The Site links to websites run by others, including Eventeny, our host hotel, venues, sponsors, WhatsApp and social networks. We do not control and are not responsible for those websites.

12. Disclaimers

The Site and our events are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RBK Productions, LLC and its owners, members, managers, employees, contractors, volunteers and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for travel, accommodation, lost profits or lost enjoyment, arising from the Site, your tickets or any event. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the tickets involved. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Florida law, including liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RBK Productions, LLC and the people listed in Section 13 from claims, losses and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your conduct at an event.

15. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for failing to perform, or for delays, caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including hurricanes and severe weather, fire, flood, public-health orders, government action, power or network failures, venue closures, labor disputes, or acts of violence or terrorism.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from these Terms, the Site, a ticket or an event will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.

17. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. These Terms, with the policies named in Section 1, are the entire agreement between you and us about their subject.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. The Terms in effect when you bought a ticket apply to that purchase.

Privacy Policy+

Effective October 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week is produced by RBK Productions, LLC, 511 NE 21st Ct., #418, Wilton Manors, FL 33305 ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy covers lauderdaletropicalbear.com (the "Site"), ticket purchases, our newsletter, our text message program, and messages you send us.

Our commitments

We do not sell your personal information. We never give your name, email address, mobile number or other contact details to any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes, under any circumstances, even with your consent.

If you accept advertising cookies, Meta receives information about your visit to the Site, as described in this policy. It never receives your name, email address or mobile number from us, and you can refuse or withdraw that consent at any time.

1. Information we collect

  • Ticket purchases. You buy tickets on the checkout of Eventeny, our ticketing provider, and pay by card through Stripe. Eventeny gives us your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, the tickets you bought and the names of your guests. We never receive your full card number or security code.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, you do so on a sign-up page hosted by Mailchimp, which stores your email address and any other details you choose to give.
  • Text messages. If you opt in, your mobile number, the date, time and method of your consent, the page you signed up on, the consent wording you agreed to, your IP address and browser type, and your opt-out requests.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, or message us on WhatsApp (including through the "Ask a Bear" button), we receive your name, email address or phone number, and what you write.
  • Site usage. If you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics records the pages you view, how far you scroll, the buttons you click, your device and browser type, the site that referred you, and your approximate location. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
  • Advertising. If you allow advertising cookies, the Meta Pixel (from Meta Platforms, which runs Facebook and Instagram) records that you visited the Site, the pages you viewed, and actions such as opening the ticket checkout, together with your device and browser type, IP address and cookie identifiers. We do not send Meta your name, email address or mobile number, and the Meta Pixel never loads on our text message sign-up page.

2. How we use your information

  • To deliver tickets, check guests in at the door, and handle transfers and refunds.
  • To send you service messages about events you have tickets for, such as schedule changes, venue moves and cancellations.
  • To send our newsletter, if you have subscribed.
  • To send text messages, if you have opted in.
  • To answer your questions.
  • To understand how people use the Site and improve it.
  • If you allow advertising cookies, to show our ads on Facebook, Instagram and Meta's partner apps and sites to people who have visited the Site, and to measure how well our ads work.
  • To prevent fraud, bot purchases and misuse of the Site.
  • To keep financial records, meet our legal and tax obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.

3. Text messages and your mobile number

We send text messages only to people who have opted in, from our toll-free number (833) 250-8706 and from 754-200-9577. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The only companies that handle your mobile number for our text program are the provider that delivers our messages on our behalf and Supabase, which stores our opt-in records, and each may use your number only to provide that service to us. The full program terms are in our SMS Agreement on this page.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers that run parts of our business for us and may use your information only to provide their service to us: Eventeny (ticketing), Stripe (card payments on Eventeny's checkout), Mailchimp (newsletter), our text message provider, Supabase (storage of text message opt-in records), Vercel (website hosting and cookieless analytics), and Google Analytics (Site statistics, only with your consent).
  • Advertising partners, only if you allow advertising cookies: Meta (Meta Pixel) receives information about your visit as described in section 1. Meta handles it under its own privacy policy and may also use it to improve its advertising services. It never receives your name, email address or mobile number from us.
  • WhatsApp, operated by Meta, carries any messages you choose to send us on WhatsApp.
  • Venues and event staff, who receive the names on tickets for check-in and nothing more.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when the law, a subpoena or a court order requires it, or when it is necessary to protect the safety, rights or property of our guests, our team or others, or to investigate fraud.
  • A new owner, if RBK Productions, LLC or Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week is sold or merged. The new owner must honor this policy.

We do not share consumer data with any other outside organization.

5. How we protect your information

  • The Site uses encryption (HTTPS) for all data sent between your browser and our servers.
  • Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it for their work, with individual logins and access controls.
  • We regularly audit our systems, service providers and data-handling practices.
  • Everyone who handles personal information for us is trained in privacy and data security.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires, including under Florida's Information Protection Act.

6. How long we keep information

  • Ticket orders and payment records: 7 years, for tax and accounting.
  • Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe. We then keep your address on a do-not-email list.
  • Text message opt-in and opt-out records: 5 years after you opt out, as proof of consent.
  • Emails and WhatsApp messages: 2 years after the conversation ends.
  • Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
  • Advertising data: our advertising cookies expire after 90 days. Meta keeps the information it receives under its own retention policies.

7. Your choices

  • Newsletter: click "unsubscribe" in any email.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to any message.
  • Analytics cookies: choose Decline on our cookie banner, or change your choice at any time with the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of every page.
  • Advertising cookies: choose Decline, or turn Advertising off under "Choose," on our cookie banner, and change your choice at any time with the "Cookie Settings" link. Declining is how you opt out of targeted advertising, and of any sharing of your information for targeted advertising under state privacy laws. You can also control the ads you see in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics and advertising cookies.

8. Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy, correct information that is wrong, delete your information (except what we must keep by law, such as financial records), stop using your information for marketing, and withdraw any consent you have given.

To make a request, email info@RBKProductionsLLC.com. We will confirm your identity, usually by asking you to reply from the email address on your order, and respond within 45 days. If we cannot fully meet your request, we will explain why, and you may ask us to reconsider. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. We process your information to perform our contract with you (tickets), with your consent (newsletter, text messages, and analytics and advertising cookies), for our legitimate interests (Site security, fraud prevention and service messages), and to meet legal obligations. You also have the rights to data portability, to object to processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Our systems and providers are based in the United States, so your information is transferred to and stored in the United States.

9. Children

The Site and our events are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

Refund and Returns Policy+

Effective September 28, 2026

This policy explains when you can get a refund for Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week tickets, passes, excursions and add-ons. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Our tickets are sold through Eventeny, our ticketing provider, and every ticket is marked non-refundable at checkout.

In short

All tickets and passes are non-refundable. The only exception is an event cancelled by the producer. Every event is rain or shine. You can transfer your ticket to another guest.

1. All tickets are non-refundable

All ticket, pass, excursion and add-on sales are final. We do not give refunds or exchanges if you change your mind, cannot attend, miss the event, arrive late, or bought the wrong ticket.

2. If the producer cancels an event

If RBK Productions, LLC cancels an event and does not hold it on another date, we will refund the ticket price and sales tax you paid for that event. Refunds are issued through Eventeny to the card you paid with. Eventeny's processing fees are not refundable. If you bought a multi-day pass and one event covered by the pass is cancelled, the rest of your pass remains valid and no refund is due for the cancelled event.

3. No refunds for changes

There are no refunds if an event is rescheduled, moved to a different venue, has a change in talent, performers, DJs, hosts or times, or for any other reason other than cancellation by the producer.

4. Weather

All events are rain or shine. Some events may be moved to a different location or venue because of weather. A weather move is not a cancellation, and no refund is due.

5. Refused entry or removal

Guests who are refused entry or removed from an event under our Terms and Conditions, for example for not having a valid physical ID or for their conduct, do not receive a refund.

6. Transferring your ticket

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest through your Eventeny account. If you need help with a transfer, email Tickets@RBKProductionsLLC.com. Tickets must not be resold for more than their face value.

7. Billing errors

If you were charged twice or charged the wrong amount, email Tickets@RBKProductionsLLC.com within 30 days with your order number and we will have it corrected.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. A disputed charge for a valid ticket may lead to the ticket being cancelled while the dispute is open.

9. Returns

We do not sell merchandise through this website, so there are no product returns.
